Fight for Free Education
One of the policies which helped generate a huge surge of enthusiasm for Corbyn in the general election was his pledge to abolish fees and bring back maintenance grants. Now we need to fight to make that a reality. We say that as a first step, the National Union of Students should call a massive demonstration demanding free education. £10hr minimum wage now!
Poverty pay has to stop. As a bare minimum, all workers deserve £10 an hour. Continuing the campaigning that has been done by organisations including Youth Fight for Jobs and Fast Food Rights, we will be fighting for a £10 an hour minimum wage for all workers, regardless of age. Jeremy Corbyn's leadership has helped put socialist ideas back on the agenda. Over 66% of 18-24 year olds are estimated to have voted Labour.
